The Basics

What is a Popup Fundraiser?

We’ve been told by too many people to count, Popups are “the easiest fundraiser ever!”

In summary:
– An organization/Host picks a date and location, and whether they’d like to offer taco kits OR fajita kits (plus a few other details).

– We send the Host an online ordering link and verbiage to share/post/email/text, etc. so guests can pre-order and pay online. (Hosts enjoy not having to collect orders and $$).

– Guests can typically order up until the day before the Popup date.

– On the chosen date (above) we Popup  with all guest orders, they drive right up to the location, tell us their name, we hand them all the Moe-liciousness, and off they go to enjoy!

– In the following two weeks the organization receives a check for the money raised.

Organizations tell us every day how they enjoy the simplicity of this fundraiser style.

What YOU Get…

Are you sitting down? The fundraising potential is enormous, but first the FOOD

The hosting organization may offer one:
– Taco Kits are $43.00 and include 12 taco shells, choice of 1 or 2 proteins, rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, pico, sour cream, queso, chips & salsa.

OR

– Fajita Kits are $48.00 and include 12 tortillas, grilled onions, grilled peppers, choice of 1 or 2 proteins, rice, beans, cheese, pico, lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, queso, chips & salsa.

 

How Much $$ Can You Earn?

25% of EVERY kit sold no limit!!


Taco Kits ~ for example:

Sell 35 taco kits at $43.00 each = $1505.00 in sales
$1505.00 x 25% = $376.25 for your group!!

Or

Fajita Kits ~ for example:

Sell 35 fajita kits at $48.00 each = $1680.00 in sales
$1680.00 x 25% = $420.00 for your group!!

When you’re ready, please click the button above and request your Popup.  We will send you an email with Popup details and here is the information we’ll need back:

– Date?
– Please choose taco kits or fajita kits.
– Location (exact address, please)?
– Delivery option (see details below)?
– Where will we set up or drop off the kits (ie: front/rear of bldg.; parking lot, etc.)?
– Contact Person’s name, email, cell#.
– Organization we’re raising funds for?
– To whom is the check payable and where will we mail it?

 

Delivery Options

Two important highlights to these delivery options:
1) The 15 or 20 kit minimum (based on the travel distance) must still be met for Popup & GO or Popup & STAY (thank you!).
2) You pay no fees up front, we simply deduct from your fundraiser check.

Pick Up the Popup:
Your organization can pick up the Popup kits at our restaurant, take back to your location and distribute to customers. No delivery or distribution fees apply, and we will mail you a check for the full amount raised from all kits sold.
Example:
Taco Kits Sold: 35
35 x $43.00 per kit = $1,505.00
$1,505.00 x 25% = $376.25 check mailed to your organization

Popup & GO:
Our delivery team will bring the Popup kits to your designated location 30 minutes before the pick-up time, please have a table ready for us to leave the kits with you. This gives your team (usually 2 people is sufficient) time to organize the kits as you wish and then distribute the kits to customers. Each kit is labeled and we will email you a copy of the customer list on the day of the Popup.

A delivery fee of $15 will be deducted from your Popup funds raised and we will mail you a check for the balance.
Example:
Taco Kits Sold: 35
35 x $43.00 per kit = $1,505.00
$1,505.00 x 25% = $376.25 profit
$376.25 – $15 delivery fee = $361.25 check mailed to your organization

Popup & STAY:
Our delivery team will bring the Popup kits to your designated location about 5 -10 minutes before the pick-up time and STAY for the scheduled 30 minutes to distribute Popup kits to customers. A delivery fee of $15 and a distribution fee of $15 (total of $30) will be deducted from your fundraiser check.

Example:
Taco Kits Sold: 35
35 x $43.00 per kit = $1,505.00
$1505.00 x 25% = $376.25 profit
$376.25 – $30 delivery & distribution fee = $346.25 check mailed to your organization

 

 

FAQs

What Days of the Week Are Available for Popups?
Popups can be hosted almost any day of the week (Taco Tuesdays and Fajita Fridays tend to book up the fastest) and Monday is the only day not available.
Popup start times begin between 4:00PM and 7:30PM (5:30-6:00 is preferred). The pick-up period is 30 minutes, as the food comes hot and ready to eat.

What Areas Do You Serve with Popups?
We are able to “pop up” to any delivery site within 45 minutes of our Moe’s location and will deliver to the site as long as a minimum of 15-20 kits are sold (depending on distance to the location). *If the minimum is not met, someone from the organization is required to pick up the kits from the restaurant on the day of the event.*

Tips to Best Support Your Popup Fundraiser:

  • Please pre-order your kit with the link above by the deadline noted above.
  • Kits are not available for purchase onsite during your Popup.
